A Letter from the Chapter President
Hey there!
I'm Tanna Darty and I am a Junior Biology Major here at Birmingham-Southern College. I am originally from Hoover, AL so I am not too far from home, but I have been so blessed to find a second home and family here in Kappa Delta!
Our members are women that I am proud to know and call my sisters. These women are heavily involved on campus inside and outside of the classroom. We have members on almost every women’s sports team and involved in many on-campus organizations such as Student Government Association, ‘Southern Ambassadors, Orientation Leaders, Spectrum, Resident Advisors, Cross-Cultural Committee, The Student Programming Board and more. In addition to being leaders on campus through their involvement, they are leaders on campus through their actions and behavior. Our sisters are kind and considerate and they work hard to share that compassion with those on and off our beautiful campus.
As Kappa Deltas, we always aim to live up to our open motto which is, “Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest.” We take this motto seriously and apply it to every aspect of our lives so that we are always representing Kappa Delta in the best way we know. Kappa Deltas are passionate, loving, accepting, & so much more and I am so glad that they are the girls that I get to spend my college years—and all the years after—with.
AOT,
Tanna Darty
